Many of you may see this as belated, but I personally feel that well wishes for the new year can be communicated throughout the whole month of January (I feel quite the opposite however, when it comes to Christmas lights remaining present past the first or second week of a new year). I actually have a tradition of sending out Happy New Year’s cards as opposed to Holiday cards to those I don’t get to see on a regular basis and they rarely go out before the second week of January.
With that said, “Happy New Year, the game done changed!”
That was a statement that stuck with me ever since I coverd the Feel Mode 2 DVD release last summer.
A lot has changed, this is true. However, in the end it doesn’t necessarily mean the rules have completely changed.
As I have listened to some of my friends and colleagues sharing their goals for the new year, I hope that in this next year follow-through will be more constant (including with myself). I don’t generally make New Year’s resolutions, but if I did they would primarily include making more time to spend with friends and loved ones as those who know me personally know I get pulled in various directions constantly and making time is usually my hardest challenge.
Year end was no different. I ended 2009 and began 2010 with a lot more things competing for my attention that added a level of busy that is typically reserved for other less holiday full times of year. I am just now getting to doing some of the things I’d intended to do last week.
If you’ve kept up with TRAffIK, you’ll know that we’ve been promising some new changes and additions. Some not so noticeable ones are in place now and we’ll continue to integrate more changes throughout the next couple of months in an effort to make the site better and easier to navigate (if you have any suggestions we always welcome feedback and you can send those to info@intraffik.com).
Thank you to everyone who has supported us in the past year, I feel like this project has been live for much longer than February of ’09, hard to believe it hasn’t! I’ve learned a lot and we appreciate all of your positive feedback. Thank you also to IsGood Music and IsGood Radio for allowing some of us to do our own internet radio shows as well, yet another chapter in our constantly evolving journey.
I took some time to pick out some of my favorite column entries by some of the TRAffIK contributors that we ran in the past year. These are some of the most talented people I know and I am lucky enough to get to read everything well before the rest of you and they never fail to entertain me. I will be posting that shortly.
This posting includes some of my favorite column entries by contributor that you should definitely take time to re-visit.
Let’s make 2010 a memorable one!
xoxo,
