Random Comments: Seamonsters was in from New York. Family was all around for them with a camcorder and camera recording the night. When I saw Venus Illuminato and The Muddy Reds, I thought they were friends. There was a call made to a The Muddy Reds’ sister during the set by a Venus Illuminato friend. I was later informed they’d just met that night and learned they had common friends. I noticed that Eastern Conference Champions played with Local Natives (one of my recent favorite bands) on various occasions, but I just wasn’t ever able to go on those particular nights. I finally got to catch their set. I was blown away. There is a story behind me going off to see Hockey. If I tell the story, I’m sure I’ll get fired from Intraffik.com. The band was great.
