My comments. A previous TRAffIK column highlighted Twilight Sleep and Whispertown 2000. I didn’t see Joe Greene and the Heavy Steppers, instead I saw just Joe Greene. I was in awe. I’ve wanted to see Aaron Roche for a while as some of my friends have talked him up. My friend Aaron Beaumont was backing him up at Hotel Café one night so that added some incentive to head on out. “Why did I wait so long?” is all I could ask myself. Ashes Divide took a while to get onto the Spaceland stage. I was getting irritated, but then Spaceland started to fill up and folks started to press towards the stage and all the activity started to get me excited . . . and they didn’t let me down for a moment. Quote from the lead singer of Sweethead, “I was trying to have a drink, but I only have water.”
